Frequently Asked Questions – Jeep Wrangler Fuel Injectors

How do I know which Wrangler fuel injector fits my Jeep?

Fitment depends on your model year and engine. Use our Year/Make/Model lookup tool or check your existing part number.

Do you carry injectors for 4.0L Wranglers?

Yes. We carry OEM and upgrade injectors for all 2.5L and 4.0L YJ and TJ engines from 1987 through 2006.

Are the Wrangler injectors new or rebuilt?

We sell rebuilt OEM injectors. Each unit is ultrasonically cleaned, flow tested, spray pattern verified, and rebuilt with new filters and o-rings.

Can I install them myself?

Installation on most Wrangler models is DIY-friendly, especially on the 4.0L and 2.5L. Just be sure to use clean hands, proper torque, and don’t overtighten the rail.

Do I need tuning after installation?

No tuning is needed for OEM replacements or Bosch upgrades unless you’ve modified the engine beyond stock spec.

What if my Jeep is running rough or has codes?

Misfires, lean codes (P0171, P0174), or uneven idle may point to clogged or failing injectors. Contact us or use our cleaning service first before replacing.

Do you include seals or clips?

Yes — all injectors come with new o-rings pre-installed. Clips available upon request.
